Good day of fishing today. Lines in the water at 6:45 just past Possession Point. First fish bit while reaching to put the line in the downrigger clip. Looked to be a good sized silver, but the hooks didn't stick. We thought it was going to be an easy day of fishing. We were wrong... The next fish came at about 8:00 on a "Red Racer" Flasher and a OG174R Squid known to us as an "Apple Core". This setup went on to catch 60% of the fish. The other setup was the same flasher but with a OAL12R "Purple Haze" Squid. The last 4 fish took until noon to get. The afternoon bite was stronger than the morning one today. The last 4 fish came in browns bay down 86feet, 92feet, 108feet and 128feet on the cable. Got blown off the water at 12:00pm with one short of our limit for 3 people.
