My son and his girlfriend were home from college and she had asked to go fishing while they were here. What could be more fun than a day chasing sea-run cutthroat! Bought bait at Pt Defiance and off we went. Had a great time and found some nice size cuts. She had fun and, being gentlemen, we let her reel in a majority of the fish :) Was a little cold out but we layered up and had no problem staying comfortable. Went through 21 of the 24 herring we bought. They were perfect size for the cutthroat- 4-4.5". Was a great day. All fish were released and swam thankfully away.
