Went squid fishing for the first time tonight with some friends at the end of the north pier at Shilshole. Had a blast and the 4 of us all got our first squid! I personally got 10 and my friends all caught at least a few.

There were 4 other gentleman at the end of the pier with generator powered lights and one of them was even nice enough to bring his over and fish with us! Such a great first squid experience even though it was "slow"! For us it was amazing. Only fished from 9-11p before the rain and wind drove us back into our vehicles. Simply a great time! Next time we might wait for a day when it is not gusting 20 and pouring.
