Fished the Snohomish from about 11:00 to 2:00PM. Pretty slow overall, but some fish were rolling. Fishing for Pinks was nothing like last week. Fished with pink corkies and yarn. The fishing rule book states non-buoyant lure restriction, but EVERYONE is using spoons a buzz bombs. Maybe I don't understand the rule, but as I know that means your lure or bait must FLOAT! If someone if sure about the rules there, please post, I would like to know. Anyhow, it doesn't seem right, and I never seen that many people doing this?? Anyhow, overall was a fun day, I'll be back in a week or so.

That's a confusing rule. Had to read it twice. You can use spoons and what not, but you have to have a single point hook that's no more than 3/4" from the point of the hook to the shank. So if they switch out the hook on their spoons and stuff from trebble to single, it's fine.

Mikey is right. The non-buoyant lure restriction also allows you to use trebles on a floating lure ONLY. But what Mikey stated before about the single hooks is correct, so have at it with the sinking lures as long as they only have a single hook 3/4" gap or less. The reason behind this rule is to cut back on the a-hole snaggers/poachers. Good Luck.

Yeah that rule has gotten me many times! I have often used corkies when I could of used a good lure thinking it was the only thing legal... Thanks for the reminder...
