Fished on Labor Day and also on Saturday the 1st for pinks in our favorite hole out of the sled. Both days were great fishing with no less than 80 fish landed each day between the three of us and many others lost. Most fish were nice and bright, but there were a few that were starting to turn. We were using spoons and jigs. Lots of fun and pretty much a fish every cast, my arm is tired. Landed quite a few good sized bucks in the 8-10 lb. range. The water is getting pretty skinny so be careful if in a sled like us, although this rain should bring the river up a little. We also towed a boat with three people that was a little ways below Lewis Street bridge back to the launch because they had broken their shear pin on their prop motor and couldn't go anywhere. They thought they were going to be able to make it to 522 with a prop, not a good idea. So if you are not experienced at running rivers and do not have the right boat to do it with try somewhere else for your safety and the safety of your passengers.
