Went fishing on the puyallup river for the first time and loved it. I will be going back for more. I got there around 11:45am and the water was a little cold and brown as usual. me and my girlfriend within 15mins had fish on. Mine got away but like a champ she pulled hers in. It was a pink 18inches and 2.8pound hen. Beautiful fish. We got tons of hits but no more after that one. We watch all the other fishermen around us and there were bring fish in non stop. I got frustrated after watching them bring some many in and let them all go. I do know now where to go to get those beautiful pink and huge kings some people were walking away with. Mind blowing sizes i tell you. Just park over by the mama stortinis resturant in puyallup walk down the path until u hit a picnic bench go right. Go down the river until you cant walk on the sand and jump in the water walk a few feet in and cast be ready you'll get hit.
