Tried many colors in the couple hours I stayed 4:30 to 6:30pm. Saw a guy catch and release one. But that was all I saw caught. Didn't see any travel up the shallows like there were on Monday. I did see some surfacing.
The escapement weekly report from the WDFW for Voights Creek says the King run may be almost done;

Adult Jack Total Adult
Total Total eggs taken Shipped Report date
Fall Chinook 1,847 60 338,000 768 09/12/07
Coho 734 25 - - - 254 "
Pink 36 -- - - - - - "

Last year (2005-2006 report) Kings total 2,414 so more than half are already up the river. Silvers 24,238 so it hasn’t hardly started this year.

(2004-5) 2,066 Kings
" 19,704 Silvers
They didn't report on the last pink run.

It looks like the kings increase about 400 a year so it might 2/3rds of the way done. I like all the salmon for eating so it still means fishing the river for awhile yet no matter what species.
