This may be a repeat.

It was nice out on the river today.
I went out and caught several pinks bringing home 3. I didn’t catch any thing on eggs. I used green corkies with green yarn and when I lost that I used red and red. I was there from 3:00 to 5:30. The fishing was a little slower than last night but there are still a lot of good pinks in the river. No one caught any silvers.

Carbon River:

Last week silvers to the hatchery count was 784 and this week (Wed.) 804. Last year total was 24,238. The king count is 1300 more than the year before.

Hy Toni!-- Great reports you seem to be slaying them! I've never fished the Carbon. Is it combat fishing in most places? Is there much bank access?

It is sometimes combat fishing but mainly on the weekend. I only know of this 2 mile stretch of the river, personally. It is wadable or it was. I don't know what it will be like after this rain. I have only caught 2 silvers in this river in the lat 4 years. One last year and one on Monday. This is the first year I have caught a lot of pinks. There are several places to fish in that 2 mile stretch if one wants to wade it.
