Fished the Nisqually from 6:15 am to noon. The river was packed with anglers of course. I used green corkies the majority of the time, but about every color was thrown sometime or another. No fish, missed two bites. The fish are all over the place, but no one seemed to be able to figure out how to get them to bite other than freak luck. I saw seven or eight fish landed (from 40-50 anglers, so the rod-to-fish ratio is about 5:1). Most were wild kings which had to be released; however I saw one smoker-quality hatchery king caught, and one nice chrome bright coho.
On Thursday (9/27) after work I was down there right before dusk and lost one on a green corky.
