Decided to hit the Washougal early this morning with my brother Brain and his gf since I had heard some good replies from friends about steelhead fishing. Got there early around 7 and started fishing with a #5 purple Blue Fox. Since I've had much success with Blue Foxs in the past, I thought it was time to bring it out again. After a half hour of fishing I had caught 1 steelhead ranging around 9lbs. It was a nice looking native and put up an awesome fight. Ended up fishing for 2 more hours until my brother hooked and caught a nice 8lber. It was an awesome day, I'll definitely be back soon! until then tight lines everyone.
