I went fishing today from 11:30-2:30pm at the same spot as I always go to. In the pool above where I fish there were 3 guys with bags on the ground and as they picked them up to leave I could see at least on good size fish. They had 13 gallon white bags like I use. So at 12:05pm I had a silver on. I got it in and it was 23” about 4-5lb. There also was evidence that someone has caught fish sometime (I think) the night before because of scales and blood but also I think “night” because of the many of items that were left behind.
I used pink corky and yarn without success and then switched to 2 little red corkies with my cured (natural color) eggs and caught the one I brought home. The river was up a little but still a greenish color visibility to about 2.5 feet.

The hatchery report says their count for silvers is up to 8951 which is the same as last week. The final in–season estimate for the Chinooks is 4464, Pinks 46.
