Had a great time on the Dungeness! Had acess to the river via a close family friend whose property butts up against the water. My 9 yr old nephew caught this 30" to 35" male hatchery silver--maybe 15lbs--using a blue fox after only his first couple of casts. Then he caught a 10lb silver. My 6 yr old son and I were skunked all weekend. Tons of snags and 3-4 lost lures. I was ecstatic for him even though I have yet to catch my first salmon. Being a salmon newbie, I learned about the corky and yarn set up. Will definitely go there again.
