well Started fishing where I left off at the end of the winter steelhead run. wynoochee an amazing river, anyway we caught 5 in all this buck being the biggest of all and it payed off to bring my buddy (left hand side) to cradle him in for me. fought like a true beast. must be a left over buck from the winter run. or just a dark summer run anyway all fish were released and all in all it was a good trip.
keep the line's tight boy's.

yeah here's some tips. red red red red. anything red I run gobs of red yarn(glow being the best) or single corkies, or if the water is green try throwing a little cleo copper color spoon or spinner. uhm ......... yeah i think you can fish bait and scent until aug. 16 but i might be wrong but if you can that would maximize your success.
also what size leaders are you using?? i never go over 48'' for steel head. and if your bank or boat fishing try running your weight on a swivel on your main line free'd up so it moves between your rod and leader swivel. good way to hook up that weight is with surgical tubing. you can find all that stuff online. the idea is when the spooky steel head takes the bait and pulls on it , it does not feel the pull of your weight but you feel everything making the take feel funny to the fish. most time you'll miss alot of steelies fishing a stationary weight system . any way if you want more info e mail me a reclaim701@lycos.com hope that helps man.
by the way if you want to know where I fish we'de have to exchange numbers cause I am not one fish and tell to everyone.
tight lines all.
