6/24/2008 3:57:00 AMgian - Don't fish that stream buddy. It's full of steelhead smolt and the mortality rate is quite high. Winter steelhead are few and far between. Fish the Sky or better yet, the Cow. The Raging River holds occasional small bows that make it in from the main fork of the snoqualmie, but it's mostly steelhead smolt in there. Just an FYI. Let's get together and fish the MiddleFork up by the Taylor River in early July!!! I'm pretty good at fly fishing and you could do that or bring what that spinning rod w/ ya pinched barbs. I'll shoot you a PM and discuss it. Sounds like you want to get to know the streams better and I've fished the MF and SF like a gazllion times. Flows are too high right now...they need to be under 1,500. PM me or I'll get at you.
