Three of us fished the mouth of the Wallace river from 7am to 1pm, casting from the shore or waded in a little. There were several anglers around us and we all got skunked. We saw some big fish splashing right in front of us, but no hook ups. Although one guy had one on for a few seconds. Tried corkies, blue fox spinners, and friends were working jigs and shrimp bait. Several drift boats we hanging out close by in the Skykomish and some jet boats too which seems to spook the fish. Still, it was good to get out. Warm day, river was cold, fast, high, and pretty clear.
