Caught a little feisty one in the upper Cle Elum River near the mouth of Cooper River. Wanted to run my boat with electric motor in Cooper Lake, but no motors allowed. I was casting a little all-gold mepps spinner into the riffle behind a big boulder, when I hooked up a little 9 inch trout, not sure what kind. He was lively, I was holding him up still on the hook, to take a picture. He kept wiggling, which kept me from getting a good picture, then he shook off the hook and dropped back into the river. I would post the pictures, but having trouble getting them off the camera right now -- long story.
