Launched at Lewis Street just before sun-up and ran down river below Penetetary Hole. Lot's of fresh silvers rolling down there but we only found one that took. My brother had it on for about 30 seconds until I lost it for him by accidentally drifting my gear into his line. I didn't even know that he had one on because he didn't say "fish-on" or anything. Whoops!

The motor started making some god awful racket when at idle but it stopped so we continued down river to the next hole. At this point the motor had enough and just gave up. It sounded as though it was down a cylinder so we did the regular checks such as spark plugs and any loose wires to no avail. It would not get on plane and didn't have enough power to get us back to the launch upriver. So we said to heck with it we have oars and we just continued to fish. We called our old man to see if he could pick up our truck and trailer at Lewis Street and meet us at the Snohomish launch later in the day, which he did.

We also fished the Snohomish River but I will make a separate report for that.

did you check if there where any rocks in the pump blocking water flow. it could also be the impeller.

We have sucked up rocks and sticks before and this problem is unfortunatley not going to be that simple. We had false hopes when checking the plugs and stuff. It is deffinatly something internal. Sucks cause it puts a damper on our season.
