Went out with a friend to hit the Sky yesterday evening. Got there around 5:30 and fished till a bit passed 7pm. Quite a few fish rolling and jumping but none willing to bite anything. I threw a pink/white Dick Nite for a while, then switched it up to silver as I saw small baitfish jumping out of the water. Switched up to corky's and yarn with a green/pink combo and still nothing. Friend was throwing a silver/red spoon and then floating roe with yarn under a float. Nothing for him either. Nothing for the guys down the bank. Nothing for the guys in the drift boat backrowing hotshot plugs. I always enjoy my time on the water, but it's really frustrating to have fish jumping within 15 feet of you for a couple hours and not catch into anything. Not sure if I'm hittin em with the wrong gear or what... Any tips guys?

Most of the time the fish in the rivers bite on darker colors a black corkie/greend dots and black yarn works good

Thanks Jacob. I'll give that a try next time.
