Went out to Green River again at the same place as yesterday. My dad and I went together again and also had another friend, Jeff, come along this time. We were targeting STEELHEAD not silver; I'm mentioning this because I seem to get confused between silver and steelhead alot, my report yesterday said i was going for silver, so sorry about that. Anyway, got in the water and made casts. There's still alot of dark but active chinooks in the water and they literally swarm the place. My dad got hooked up on a fish right off the bat but lost it and then I hooked one up about a half hour after that. Jeff managed to snag a couple chinooks(unintentionally of course). Like i said they swarm the place. Jeff brought in a nice steelhead after that. It slowed down for a couple hours, but then it picked up after i managed to get 5 fish in a row. The 3rd fish i hooked might have been a steelhead because i could see the shine in the water and it definitely wasn't any of the kings, after all, they're way too dark. That "what i think was a steelhead" put up a good fight but then my swivel snapped once again!!! This happened to me yesterday too, ahhhhh!!! >:o. Overall, an exciting day. Fished till 1:00 and headed out to lunch. I hooked up 7, Jeff hooked 3 with a keeper, and my dad hooked 6.
