Went out on the sky with my friend jordan and his neighbor who took us out in his drift boat. we were fishing by 630, we had one take down around 10:30 but finally hit this chum around 1:00, and since it was only my second time on the river and first fish i caught on the river, i didn't quite get him turned fast enough and the fish hit the fast water and next thing i know this thing is 50 yards down stream in no time, i had 12 pound test so there was not a whole lot i could do i put as much tension as possible on him but it wasn't stopping and now the fish is nearing the end of the spool which has 200 yards of line on it, so we had to chase the fish about 1/4 mile downriver finally catch up with it and land it on the bank . it was one of the most insane fights I've ever had!
