Got to the river about 7:30. No snow, but slight rain. Water was olive green color, high and fast. I ran pink corkies, green, purple, salmon eggs, nightcrawlers, spinners, orange corkies... then called it quits. I left about 1 pm again without a single bite, nor a fish seen. I don't think they are actually "in" just yet, at least not in big numbers. I was the only one on the river the whole time, except for one boat at the mouth of tolt/ snoqualmie. That should have clued me in fishing was going to be slow. I'm hoping for snow tonight so the river might drop a bit. I'm not giving up just yet.

My toes still have not thawed.
