Got to the 116th after having no luck at the Carbon. 3 other anglers were there. 1 was fly fishing and the rest of us were drift fishing. River still little high and the water seems more dirty, only visible for about 1-2 feet. Flow was not bad. Didn't see anyone with any fish or bite. My first cast was a nice tree branch and line broke, that should of been my cue to stop and go home, but being stubborn to try to catch anything at this point, went to the car and grabbed my other pole and fished for about another 1hr. Caught another snag and broke my line, and then that is when I realized today was not meant for me to catch my first steelhead. Of course Jens was happy to hear that I didn't catch anything since we have a little competition who will catch the first steelhead.

Thanks for the report, makes it easier knowing it's slow there for everyone.

Doesn't this, our friendly competition, remind you a little of when we first started golfing and how we wanted to see who would break 80 first?? Hmm, Oh, yeah, I broke 80 first!!
Glad you made it out there bud..It's also kinda like coming behind someone after they spent 100$ on pull-tabs on the same machine!! I will be on the river soon-
