It was only my second time out to the Grande Ronde, and a nice one. The morning started out a bit cold but it ended up getting to about the upper 50s. After about the first hour and a half we hooked one and thought it was a steelhead, but it turned out to be like a 5 or 6 pound sucker. Then we moved spots to the hatchery and after a few hours caught about a 6 pound steelhead. A little while after that we hooked a big one but got off. After a couple more hours it got windy and we called it a day.Everyone that was there yesterday said the fishing was great!
