Got some time off and me and a buddy decided to go to clean up the elk camp before the rlk season opened this year. So we got together with one of are buddys who lives down there and went on a sturgeon trip. The first river we went two the Naselle was not very good not a bite in 4 hours. So we switched and went to the Deep river got lots of bites but from those dang crabs ate all the smelt we had. They need to make a no limit season in that river for those. we did get 1 sturgeon not legal by 1 inch 1 stupid inch. but the trip wasn't a total waste we got the crawdad pots out and caught some to eat that night and caught some frogs for frog legs and had a big bbq.
