NORMALLY AN AWESOME TROUT RIVER BUT THE FLOOD SEASON CHANGED IT ALOT.THREW AVERYTHING IN MY SPINNER BOX ONLY CATCHING 4 THIS SEASON SO FAR.3 NATIVE CUTS ONLY 5 TO 10 INCHES.STILL HAD FUN.WAITING FOR WATER TO SLOW DOWN SOME AND MAYBE I'LL GET IN TO THE 15-24 INCHERS THAT I PERSONALLY KNOW ARE IN THIS RIVER.OH AND THIS IS NOT A FLY FISHING RIVER ONLY AS MANY BELIEVE IT IS SELECTIVE GEAR RULES ONLY AND STARTED WEEK LATE THIS SEASON SO READ THE REGS ONCE IN A WHILE.

You know what, i heard that same rumor and since the river opened back up i only fly fished it, because i was informed from a buddy that is pretty knowledgable. Single barbless hooks only, no live bait, simple right. Well some guys thought they were slick and were gong to use worms last week and the game warden gave them both pretty nice tickets. I still had an awesome year last year fly fishing it, the river has changed alot though, alot of my honey holes are gone now.
