Well today I went out on the Green. Got to the river about 7:00am and hiked down the hill. ( parked in a turn off right before the 169 bridge) Got my first cast in about 7:20 and started getting hits off the start. Got my first fish in a bout 15 minutes. Got it to my hand and then splash, shook off the hook (I need to buy a net). So I went up stream a little farther up river. Then hooked another, this time I got it in my hand and got the hook out. then I slipped and fell and he went spalsh as well. At this point I was pissed, two keepers already got away. So I went back to fishing and caught a couple of 7 inchers or so. got bored with that spot so went down river. Found a spot after clearin sme tall grass out of my way and getting bit but 20 bogs or so. I was standing on a rock and a small sand bar. I hooked a small one and I went to adjust my footing and slipped and fell again. this time i fell on the roch I was standing on. Right on my hip and then my elbow. dropped my poll in the water and had to jump in to get it. So now could and wet I decided it was time to find a new location. So I hiked back out and drove to kanasket palmer and did some fishing there for a few hours. Caught two small trout and then came home.
All and all, it was a good day. didn't bring anything home...........other than a ton of bug bites, bruised body and a sun burn.
I still had a great time though.
