went to the hoh for the weekend towards the mouth near the ocean got there the first day by 430 beautiful fishing conditions with no real combat fishing. used corkie yarn with amburman salmon eggs and sand shrimp, spoons, spinners, hammered the spot for about 12 total hours in 2 days with no steelhead or salmon not even a bite between 4 of us. but did catch a nice 14 inch trout. lol
