Launched at langus at 7AM with 4 anglers. Fish rolling from launch to Rotary park and solid numbers on the sonar. C&R'd lots of fish between 8 and 10. When the bite was on I had a fish every cast. Yes, I fish barbless. However, fish don't seem as aggressive so far as 2007. I expect that to change as more fish pump in with more favorable tides. Majority of action was from the stretch above rotary down to HWY2. "Bite" was influenced by tide shift. Fished until 5:15. All anglers limited. Will remember to bring a net next time I take guys looking to catch and keep. The fish were bright and red fleshed. All fish were taken on pink jigs but did see one old timer having good success with a Dick Nite hanging off the boat. Still trying to figure out how many fish he was able to keep. Saw 5 go in the boat and was still fishing when we left. Observed no enforcement on the river in the 10 hours we were out. I guess they are all on the Skoke.
