Fished the Puke again on Tuesday. I was at a different location then the first trip. Fishing was real slow for atleast an hour from sunrise. I am still learning to fish rivers. I found that I was drifting with not enough pencil lead. I couldn't feel the tap tap from the bottom for a long time. Switched over to some real sinkers and that solved my problem.
I started catching fish later on and limited. I even caught my p.b. for all fish species. It was a five pound buck pink salmon. I wished I would have taken a picture with it like it was a keeper king salmon.
