Another sucessfull evening on the river. Got down there about 4:30 - by 4:45 I had three on my stringer -
think it took 6 casts. Then switched over to my ultralight trout setup and had a blast.
In the next hour I C&Red 8-10 more, the strange thing was I kept foul hooking them.
I was fishing with the same jig, and the same fashon as I have for the last two weeks and all of a sudden
I was foul hooking em - five in a row like that! The only difference was I was using my ultralight.
One foul was right in the back fin - he just kept going up the river, nearly spooled me before I got him turned around.
Another was hooked in the side - he was doing full on 360s in the air trying to shake the hook.
Ended up bringing the three home and they are sittin in brine along with others from earlier in the week..
Tomorrow I'll be a smokin!!!
