Lake Chelan has continued to produce good numbers of Mackinaw with a sprinkling of big fish mixed in. The deep water in the lower basin and the area above the Yacht Club have been the big producers. Focus on depths of 190' to 250' in the lower basin and depths of 240' to 350' above the yacht club. In both locations, the U-20 flatfish worked within 10 feet of the bottom at 1.2 knots has been the big producer. If the wind prevents this slower presentation try a size 13 jointed Rapala in firetiger or chartreuse. They will be productive through a wider range of speeds. I am seeing more surface activity, more schools on sonar and more kokanee coming out of laker stomachs so the lakeside kokanee show should be kicking off soon.
