Boatman road is the best fishing the puyallup gonna have untill mid Oct. thats when prespawners actually make it to the Carbon, off river road/levee rd just aint worth it anymore with the nets always out.
use any color as they cant see in that murk anyways its just a flossing game. stick with a leader of 8' or better. if youve caught a silver before im sure you got the jist of they dont like thier bellys touchd so that keeps them higher in the water.
sorry for the big comment on a weekold post lol got carried away. but for real boatman rd is where its at, theres a guy down there with parking signs out, he charges 10 bucks but its a great deal park and walk 300 feet to river and fish, he gaurds all the rigs from his camper at the gate with a rifle and a big ol dog by his side. Hes graveled the driveway and had porta pottys installed, along with fillet tables on the river.
This spot is always hot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 4 times a week for 3 weeks now and i limit every time and its never been worse than 5 casts without one on!!!!!
