9/18/2009 7:39:00 PMYou can still fish with non-buoyant lures (spoons & jigs). The new anti-snagging rules state if a non-buoyant lure is being used, then a single-point hook will be used, as well...and in some cases barbless (check regulations for specific areas). The only changes apply to buoyant lures or trolling...which can use more than one hook. At least that's how I read it...see the link below for "Anti-snagging rule clarified".
