Fished blue lake for trout, big trout but slow fishing. Bought worms and started fishing in the cove for sunfish and bluegill, the kids loved the action. I put on a wedding ring tipped with a worm and worked it across the bottom. Caught perch so big the hooks pulled out of their mouth when I tried to lift them into the boat. Started using a net on the perch, they were 13" and over a pound.

I know it's a trout lake, but the fish don't know that!!! Brought home over 100 fish and the kids had a blast.
