Got to the Stilly at around 7AM. Between myself and friend, Tom, we quickly C&R'd 3-4 male pinks - their huge humps make them too gnarly looking to keep, and I understand their meat is not as good as the females. Within the next couple of hours, we landed 5 hens. The frog/green color Dick Nite spoons were working great. Hot pink color had worked very well during our last few trips, but not so today. Then Tom landed (okay, netted) his 1st ever silver! A 9.5 pounder. We limited out shortly after that. We noticed 2 other silvers get landed while we were there.

There are fewer and fewer pinks compared to past few weeks, but they're still jumping around pretty good. Noticed more silvers compared to just this past Sunday, and they make a huge flop on the water when they jump! Next few weeks should get better for silvers on the Stilly.

Meat is actually better on the males. People keep females for eggs. Thanks for the report.
