The feeling of being skunked on the Skokomish earlier in the day led me here. I wasn't able to fish my favorite hole due to it being occupied. A few here and there is what I was being told, but all boots. I walked above my hole and immediately got into a fish. It was just me and a father and son that had this whole stretch to ourselves. I know I was out for Coho's, but I just needed to feel a fish, humpy or not, I wanted to catch. I switched to light tackle and caught and released over 30 Humpy's. I could tell these fish had barely any strength in them, even the foul hooked ones didn't put up much fight. Overall, I had a nice peaceful time fishing today...

Hey did it feel like those 20 something logs you caught at the SKOK? I did see a guy catch a nice silver and it was jumping out of the water, but then the fish got caught in the netting area as it got closer and the guy tried really hard to get the fish out but then the line snapped. They have the nets on all those deep pool area - not fair especically when there are fishermen fishing at the spot beforehand. I ddin't even get a bite, but I did see tons of fish struggling at the gill nets, nice chrome ones. I think they also got my 18# king native that I released a while back ago. DANG IT.!!!!!!
