Fished the afternoon on Sunday with my ol' fishign buddy. We were near the golf course. It was rough going @ first as we were in the heavy current. I started off fly fishing, but didn't have any strikes (Any suggestions as what to use when flyfishing?). I brought my spinner rod too, so I switch up and used that with a spoon. We both started catching pinks on the spoon after we moved to the slower moving pool on the otherside of the river. It was fun. I had my ultra light 7' trout pole and it handled very well, bent over like crazy, but handled well. i am going to go back with the fly rod as the area I was in was perfect for the space needed for the back cast...The silvers should come more and more. We didnt see any, only pinks....
