Scoped out several spots along the Green, all of which seem a lot quieter than before the past 2 days of rain. From the Best Western River's Edge up north to S 102nd St bridge, I saw barely any fish action in the water and less than a dozen anglers through that whole stretch.
I had an hour to spare before getting back to work, so I headed down to Auburn to check out the spot at North Green River Park - spent just 10 minutes casting to realize that there wasn't any fish action even though the water was a bit higher than a few days ago. The only good news is that the rain apparently watched away the stench of fungus pinks. Perhaps it'll take another 2-3 days for the silvers (if any left) to come through.
Stopped by Isaac Evans Park before heading back. There were about 8 anglers there using mostly corky & yarn setups. A couple had pink mini squids. Not much action. I decided to stick w/ my Size 1 DN 50/50 spoon and within 40 minutes, I had 5 hook-ups and landed 3 pinks (2 surprisingly decent looking males in the mouth, 1 very ugly zombie hen foul-hooked - all released).
