Well after some debate on what river to go to decided on the carbon. Went to my usual spot and didnt even get a bite. Talked to the fisheries guy on the bike thats up and down the river. He said its been really slow and flossing is not the way to get them now. Said the few that have caught silvers have been tossing spoons or spinners. Ive never tossed spoons but it sounds like I should buy a few and try it out.

You can always try different color yarn - "hot red" seems to get at least the male humpies to bite. The females are mostly zombies now, so I don't know if anything would make them bite.

For silvers, I've had success with neon green yarn as well as pink mini-hoochies.
