Fished on the Dungeness, bout a half mile from the hatchery. Could see several monster coho swimming but couldn't get them to hit on anything. Tried orange, green and pink corkie & yarn, no luck. Then tried a green buzz bomb, no luck. Then finally I switched to a big red and silver needlefish and bam, first cast one rolled at it. Missed him, casted again, fish on! After a little fight I landed him, 15 lb. 31 inch male coho. That was it for us though, my roommate came back empty handed. Spent most of our time fightin snags but we'll be back. Good luck all!
