Had a great time yesterday at the Skok. Parked at the gate for Hunter Farms on Purdy Cut Off Road and walked up the trail and went to the spot with the bend in the river. There was a group of four who caught a total of 16 large and beautiful looking Chum. Another guy who was there was slaying them on almost every cast, but he was releasing the Chum because all he was looking for was Silvers (BTW, they were in there). For some reason I wasn't catching anything until this guy helped my out by tellng me where they were and gave up a 1 ounce weight. That got me down to the bottom properly and with a 5ft. leader and green corky and yarn, I was into my first Chum in no time. This fellow who helped had a beautiful chrome Silver, one of the nicest I've seen all season.
All in all I unfortunatley snagged and released 6 Chum, but brought home this nice hen that you see in the picture. With the rain and the bad weather, it just made the trip that much more fun. The river was high so there was no crossing it to get to your favorite spot.

Sirfishalot, I didn't say I had a bright fish, I was talking about the guy who helped me out, he had one of the brightest silvers I've ever seen. This is obviously not bright, but I'm still proud to have caught her.

Jens, I read your report brother, sorry to hear about that loss. We'll get em next week!

Sorry Dylan, never fished the Snohomish, so I wouldn't know. Your best bet is to go into the forums and create a post under "Rivers" with that question, there is bound to be someone with that knowledge.
