Met up with goin_postal for some Chum action. The water was pretty muddy, reminded me of the Puyallup. I fished below GP and about 10 minutes of going at it, I had fish on. It made a spectacular leap out of the water, exposing a gorgeous silver color. "No way, a Silver?" I thought to myself. The fish took me downriver and after 2 or 3 minutes- fish off. I didn't get a whiff of another fish from that moment on. Goin_postal towards the end, called out, "Fish" and battled his beast and beached it. Chrome and fresh looking is what stared back at GP. We both were on a time schedule and called it a day. I am not sure if the nets had anything to do with the slow action. From the feedback we have been hearing of this river, our expectations were very high today. Oh well, good fishing with Gp, but I am still Chumless.

Man sorry to hear that jens. I will probably head down there next weekend maybe we can meet up. I picked up a few things this last trip. Clear waters they like a diff color then murky water. I didnt know you was headed down or I would have given ya the heads up. Im hoping that the river is down and clear so I can get over to my hole I like. I landed around 12 - 14 more fish then I yesturday there. River conditions was alot better though. Im gonna roll down to the green for a bit tomorrow and see if I can pull anything out of there.

I'm not sure what days they net, but I know they don't net at night, so best bet, is at first light. Also, when that river isn't being bombarded with run off, it's relatively clear. I've tried twice when it looked like the puyallup, and had zero luck. The time it was clear, everyone in the hole I was at were bringing in lots of fish.

Thanks guys, I know there are fish, they just weren't holding in slots I thought they would be. I am sure they were under trees and hard places to get a good drift in. I am all in this saturday, I think goin_postal can go too, I'll bring my son as well. We just need to know where ):

When we were leaving about 4:30p- we walked by a group that had a nice campfire going. They looked like they were going to be there all night...
