Dad and I hit the Sky below Lewis Street, hiking down river to the gravel bar just past the quarry. We call the back eddy there chum lake, because since I was a kid this area was loaded with spawned out chums. Anyways, went looking form some fresh ones, but no sign of any fish period. Even the back eddy (Chum lake) was completly empty. Fished for a while using green corky and yarn, dad used hot orange corky green yard. Decided to go down to Thomas Eddy. Hiked down to where the river cuts on the iner side of the island. Saw a large school of Cuts or dolly??? jumping. A few pinks left, but mostly spawned out Coho. Hooked one and released it. No sign of any chum, or fresh fish.
