My buddy used to live here and its all he talked about. I have never seen so many Salmon in one place. They practically jump into the boat. There were many a limited angler the 4 days i was there. Good fishing from just west of the bridge in town all the way up the river (only a few boatable miles). Fat silver ones, Big reds and jacks galore. Once you get past the bridge it gets very quiet, only saw one other boat the entire 4 days. Have to launch by hand, no big boats. Definitely worth the trip.
