headed down again, this time i got there early.the chum run is still early from what the netters said so they are not in thick yet.the water is still a little high and very murky.did some research online, cause when the waters get flooded the fish are there and nobody can catch one no matter your skill level.so they say that the fish hug the banks really close and i know that but still seem not to produce in these conditions.so while i was there today i was working the shore on my side because the water was to high to walk any distance and while i was standing in 6-12in of water there were chum swimming just in front of my feet and i was watching them jump in the over hanging trees about a foot from the banks drop off.so anybody going to fish the puke you should hit the lower river for sure cause clarks creek hatchery gets most of the chum and they are not even in thick yet.left after a couple hours cause i was just watching fish swim circles around me without a thing.one guy next to me hooked one but broke off and thought his 10lb line was the problem.a couple days ago there were two guys there that told me i needed 20lb line for these fish and my 12lb wont work,i told him i was at the cow and catching 25lb+ kings and they didnt believe me.good luck everyone
