Todays fishing trip made me think of being at a nightclub or bar and getting 10 cell numbers from 10 different hot chicks that want to go home with me but then later on find out all the numbers are disconnected.
I could have rated this day a 5 because I had the most action today out of everyone who fished today, but failed to land any fish. I ended up going 0/10. I fished with goin_postal, jerry, and Tommytitan08. They all landed fish. All the fish that were landed were all surprisingly chrome and some could be easily mistaken for a Coho.
I was given until 2:30p to fish and I made a silent prayer to the fishing gods on my last cast, "Please?!!" I casted out, felt the bounce- bounce- tick- tick- pause FISH ON!! The battle lasted a few minutes NOOO!! FISH OFF!! To the right of me, goin_postals voice could be heard over my adult language, " FISH ON!" he lands the pig while talking to his girlfriend on the other line. Unbelievable.
We did run into other fellow WA Lakes members, Tim and John. Until next time....

Those kinda days make you scratch your head! I am sure you are keeping your hooks sharp but that is what I first suspect when that starts happening to me. After I loose some I make sure my hooks are the sharpest possible(well even before I loose any,but especially after loosing fish). However that is better then a day with no bites and no fights!!

That is a good point goodtimesfishing. Hey Jens, you might want to stop buying those knock offs king snakes hooks from EBAY and start getthing those real king cobras hooks.

I assume you guys went to the creek where GP was hooking up last week? This coming weekend should be an all out fishfest for me. Hope to see you all around.

I am still pretty frustrated in losing that many fish and not landing a single one. I could have easily sharpened my hooks from the frozen tears that were stuck to my frozen face. Seriously though, I went to Wholesale Sports and picked up a hook sharpener-
Big, I sent you a message..
