after no luck on the upper puyallup river, i decided to head to the lower river and see how they were doing down there. when i got there i was suprised to see only a few others fishing the spot, and felt relieved to hear that the chum had been hitting, although scarcely. one other guy had a nice chrome buck that he had landed an hour before. i tossed out a few casts and FISH ON. fought this chum buck that was around 10 lbs for 3-4 minutes and finally landed it. fished about another hour or so, hooked one more chromer that only stayed on my linefor about 15 seconds, and after that the fish were non existent. all in all i would say i had a good time on a nice day, although my toes were frozen. fish on all

Nice that you kept trying and got one. I was just thinking that maybe you should hit the lower river first, then when they quit biting go up river and wait for them. Just a thought.

where did you fish today? i started in the upper puyallup then moved down, was still somewhat slow. but idk if i am fishing tomorrow i would like to, you got something in mind?

thanks for the advice toni. i heard yesterday silvers were being landed up top using spoons, thats just hearsay though so who really knows.

I was at the higher river today from noon to 4 and saw 5 fish caught and a bunch rolling and jumping i didnt catch anything but still a good day on the river thanx for the report
