Fished the stilly a few days this week and put in a ton of fishing with not a single hook up, bite, bump, jump, roll or anything that would indicate there was fish. I take that back Wed. I did see the sea lion fishing for fish below the dam and all the way down the sand bar and he was coming up empty handed or should I say empty mouthed, until he finally after hours of no fish did get a chum right up against the dam. Usually he has a fish almost every time he comes up, but he had to work hard for that one. That let me know that it has not been the fish not biting but that there has been no fish. Sure would be nice if some fish would come in before the water gets messed up again, it has been low and nice and clear...just no fish in it. I have heard there are several people fishing the north fork but not sure if they have been catching anything or if it is just the ability to fish it with regular gear(before Dec.1 it was fly fish only). If anyone has heard how it has been on the north fork let me know. Oh and have fun fishing!!!!!

yes, you are right, no fish , EVERYONE should go to the sky or green, and just hang tight. I'll stay behind, sacrifice myself , and when fishing picks up I'll give everybody the all clear signal.

leif-liden---during the time of this report(Dec.), eggs are allowed...however right now today, you are correct that eggs are not allowed. Thanks for watching out though...
