My son and I hit the Hump Friday. Fished the mouth of stevens creek. There were 100+ fish stacked below the hatchery intake, mostly red silvers. When we got to the mouth a guy was playing a fish, very nice chrome silver of 10-11lbs. Hooked it on yellow yarn. We were getting set up and the guy foul hooks another beautiful coho(released). Not much room to fish there but we got some drifts in. couldn't hit a thing. A guy across the river hooked and landed a dark coho. There were quite a few people there. We picked up and went a half mile down and found a real nice cliff pool with two guys fishin it. We started pitchin eggsn a float like they were and 15 min later the one guy does a wicked hookset and has a toad of a chrome silver on the bank. 12lb+ I'm thinking mines in there somewhere......nope. Fished till dark and hit the road. All fish were hatchery and very chrome, dammit.
