12/17/2009 11:37:00 AMKZOO forgot to describe his landing method for this hen. She fought so well, he had to dive on her and tackle her so she wouldn't escape. He looked like a wild animal getting his prey. It was a great fish and great landing!

12/17/2009 7:55:00 PMI caught the fish on the island. We bounced around a lot that day. We started near the hatchery then the boat launch area and kept on working downstream all the way to the tolt. Then we went back to the eddy. Action was still a little slow, saw probably 7 fish the whole stretch, but conditions were not ideal, weekend should be hot.

12/18/2009 5:21:00 PMNice fish. Ive not been on the snoqualmie fishing for a few years. I was talking to my cousin about heading up there. Sounds like its time. I am waiting for my new rod and I picked up a few choice colors of jigs. So Im hoping its on. Good luck all.
